This was a typical experience I faced as a serial expat, moving from country-to-country to follow my wife's career. I never quite had a consistent career path (due to laws, limited opportunities, or family needs), so I got creative. 

Over the course of living abroad for two decades, I tried my hand at international aid work, US Diplomacy, and consulting. Although each provided me with excellent professional experience, it was never long-lasting. 

So, I pivoted to entrepreneurship and started crafting a deeper purpose, through service and impact, as a purpose and business coach, a motivational speaker, and writer. 

 Entrepreneurship is not the only path to happiness, but it is a wonderful path to explore your sense of purpose, your potential, and the impact you can make while generating an income.

Yes, as long as you are willing to learn the basics and willing to do the work. 

I'm not a certified coach, can I still join? 

Yes! No need for a certification, unless you want to build a specific skillset in coaching. All you need are skills and knowledge that the marketplace demands, a willingness to learn marketing, and the ability to follow-through when things get difficult. 

I don't live overseas, can I still join? 

Yes, however, the majority of stories and examples will be from the perspective of an individual that travels abroad and is building a business from overseas. 

Will you teach the legal and tax implications of building a business abroad? 

No. I'm not a licensed tax professional and or lawyer. Please find appropriate support based on your country of origin. I do, however, have tax professionals in my network that support US business owners living abroad.
